Based in Korea, Superbiochips brought the first commercial tissue array slide to market.

Tissue array slides contain many samples from conventional histological paraffin blocks, allowing tissues from multiple patients to be analysed simultaneously. Tissue array slides can be used for high throughput screening by immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization or FISH. Samples on the tissue array slides have a large core size, are of high quality with a long shelf life and are available from a wide variety of tissues.

Change of Packaging Information

Please be aware that from January 2012 the packing method of the tissue array slides will change. The slides will not be covered with an excessive amount of paraffin, but will be packaged in 99% nitrogen gas. This is a confirmed new method that is effective in antigen preservation for at least 6 months.
