Quantitative RT-PCR was performed using DIANA&#8217;s DB RT-PCR SYBR Mix and a leading competitor mix. Melting curve analysis revealed multiple non-specific products for each target with the competitor mix, sometimes completely failing to amplify the specific product. In contrast, DB RT-PCR SYBR Mix produced a single, specific amplicon for each target.
