Long Description:
Chemical. CAS: 26093-31-2. Formula: C10H9NO2. MW: 175.2. Synthetic. A fluorogenic standard useful for quantitating assays monitoring amido-4-methylcoumarin (AMC) release. These include ubiquitin-AMC, SUMO-1-AMC, NEDD8-AMC, ISG15-AMC and proteasome substrates. The concentration of the AMC released can be calculated from a standard curve prepared with AMC standards.
Molecular Formula:
C10H9NO2
Molecular Weight:
175.2
Other data:
Use: Serial dilute in reaction buffer to form a standard curve within the range of sensitivity determined for the assay and plate reader. The recommend upper final concentration for AMC curves is 500 nM. The excitation and emission wavelengths of AMC are 360nm and 460nm, respectively. Other wavelengths may be used as long as measurements are consistent for both the experimental samples and the dilution curve.
