Source:
Chickens were immunized with highly purified cervid IgG isolated from deer and elk serum. After multiple immunizations in Freund's adjuvant, eggs were collected and the IgY fraction prepared. The antibodies were immunoaffinity purified from a solid phase immunoabsorbant and conjugated to fluorescein isothiocyanate.
