The immunogen for the anti-cdk 6 was a recombinant cdk6 protein recognizing a protin of 40kD recognizing a 40kD protein. It plays a crucial role in the progression of G1 to S. It can be highly expressed in some lymphoid tumor and sarcoma cell lines (ML-1 and U-2-OS resp.).
