Further Information

Applications:
FCM - 1-10 ug/mL
Background:
IGFBP1, also known as placental protein 12 (PP12), is a member of the insulin-like growth factor binding protein (IGFBP) family and encodes a protein with an IGFBP domain and a thyroglobulin domain. IGFBP1 circulates in the plasma and has been shown to either inhibit or stimulate the growth promoting effects of its ligands called insulin-like growth factors (IGFs) I and II. High expression levels of IGFBP1 have been implicated in metastasis of prostate cancer.
Formulation:
1 mg/mL in PBS/50% glycerol, pH 7.2
Gene IDs:
Human: 3438
Immunogen Translated:
Human IGFBP1 expressed Ba/F3transfectants generated from SST-REX (signal sequence trap by retrovirus-mediated expression screening).
Reactivity:
This antibody reacts with human IGFBP1 on Flow cytometry.
Source:
This antibody was purified from hybridoma culture supernatant by Protein A affinity column chromatography.
Target:
IGFBP1
