| The Single Doman Antibody (sdAb) from camelids, also known as VHH antibodies, provides cutting-edge technology for antibody research. The sdAb lacks light chains and is smaller and more stable than conventional antibodies yet possesses fully functional antigen-binding capability. Due to its size (a mere 15 kDa), a single domain antibody is adept at reaching otherwise inaccessible epitopes. • Smallest functional antibody unit at ~15 kDa • Unique binding capacity to conformational epitopes and active sites • Unique physical properties can lead to increased stability under extreme temerature and pH, as well as
increased solubility • Recombinantly produced for lot-to-lot reporducibility • Adaptable through antibody engineering • Products for Immune Checkpoints and SARS_Cov_2 targets. |

| SF-4 Baculo Express Serum Free Insect Medium from BioConcept:
Extensive development and further investigation on the nutritional needs of insect cells, based on the excellent performance of SF-1, resulted in our improved “ready to use” SF-4 Baculo Express medium. SF-4 Baculo Express medium is a proprietary serum free formulation which has successfully been used to grow various Spodoptera frugiperda (SF9, SF21), BTI-TN5B1-4 (High FiveTM) and Drosophila melanogaster (D.Mel-2) cells. With SF-4 Baculo Express media all cell types can be cultivated: monolayer-, spinner- or shaking cultures, adherent cells and suspension cells. The medium contains all additives necessary for the cultivation of insect cells in the optimal concentration: steroids, amino acids, organic acids, glutamine and glucose. The medium is designed for efficient infection and expression with the Baculovirus system. |

| Serum is a highly variable non-standardized product requiring extensive testing to find the batch compatible with your cell types. The composition of serum-free medium on the other hand is well defined and ensures lot-to-lot consistency. Bioconcept's BIT 9500 Serum Substitute replaces serum for the culture of stem cells and was developed for use in serum-free culture conditions with defined composition. BIT 9500 contains Bovine serum albumin (BSA), Insulin and Transferrin (BIT) in Iscove’s IMDM. For BSA we use tested batches of EDQM certified ProbuminTM BSA. |

| Human hepatocytes have become the gold standard for evaluating hepatic metabolism and toxicity of drugs and other xenobiotics in vitro. Moreover, they are becoming utilized more extensively for many kinds of biomedical research, including a variety of biological, pharmacological and toxicological studies. For this reason, hepatocyte acquisition is now a critical step for research activities. The limited availability of human hepatocytes makes cryopreservation a good option to provide researchers with a sufficient amount of viable liver cells. |

| Hepatic non-parenchymal cells (NPCs) represent about 30% of the liver and are specialized cells which interact with hepatocytes, presenting present organotypic hepatocyte-NPC interactions via direct contact or paracrine signaling, and forming a functional hepatic unit. |

| Hepatic stellate cells (HSC) are pericytes located in the space of Disse. These cells are the major cell type involved in liver fibrosis in response to liver injury. HSC play a key role in liver homeostasis, maintenance and regeneration including retinol metabolism storage, and release. |

| IL-33 is a nuclear-associated cytokine that is normally released by damaged or necrotic cells acting as an “alarmin”, an immediate indicator of tissue stress. IL-33 is a potent inducer of type 2 immune responses in the context of parasite infections and allergic asthma. New studies have also extended the biology of IL-33 with other functions: i) inducing brown and beige adipocyte thermogenesis and promoting insulin secretion by pancreatic islets; ii) facilitating Treg proliferation to suppress autoimmunity and to potentiate neurological recovery; and iii) exerting multiple roles in the brain. |

| AdipoGen Life Sciences (AdipoGen) is a research company developing proteins, biochemicals, antibodies and ELISA Kits. To promote the advancement of non-animal alternative approaches (3Rs), AdipoGen implemented the antibody phage display technology in-house to develop monoclonal antibodies without the use of animals. Using this technology, AdipoGen was a forerunner in releasing the first recombinant monoclonal antibody for research on the market in 2010: anti-APRIL (mouse), mAb (rec.) (blocking) (Apry-1-1). Since then, our portfolio of fully validated recombinant antibodies made with the phage display technology continues to grow, with a focus on functional antibodies that can block or activate their respective target. |
