Further Information
Bioactivity:
Decafluorobenzophenone is used in the synthesis of fluorinated acridones and acridines. Decafluorobenzophenone alcoholic solution generates radical anion and ketyl which can be studied by electron spin resonance spectra. It undergoes photolysis to form ketyl (C6F5)C.OH radica.
