NBD-Pen high sensitivity, specific lipid free radical fluorescence probe. The NBD-PEN directly detects lipid free radicals in living cells by turning on fluorescence. In a rat model of hepatocellular carcinoma induced by diethylnitrosamine (DEN), the formation of lipid-free radicals was detected by NBD-PEN within 1 h after DEN administration.
