Background:
Epitope tag technique has widely been accepted technique that fuses an epitope peptide to a certain protein as a marker for gene expression. With this technique, the gene expression can be easily monitored on western blotting, immunoprecipitation, and immunofluorescence, utilizing with an antibody that recognizes such an epitope. HA-tag (YPYDVPDYA) sequence is widely used for the epitope tag, which corresponding to the partial peptide of Influenza hemagglutinin protein.
Concentration:
2 mg/mL
Formulation:
200 ug IgG in 100 ul volume of PBS containing 50% glycerol, pH 7.2. Contains no preservative.
Immunogen Translated:
Binding peptide carrier protein (CP-YPYDVPDYA)
Reactivity:
This antibody reacts with N-terminal
and C-terminal HA-Tag on Western blotting, and
Immunoprecipitation.
Shelf Life:
1 year
Source:
This antibody was purified from hybridoma
(clone 5D8) supernatant using protein A agarose. This
hybridoma was established by fusion of mouse myeloma
cell P3U1 with Balb/c mouse lymphocyte immunized with
carrier protein (CP) conjugated peptide CP-YPYDVPDYA.
