DNMT3A-IN-2 is a potent metabotropic inhibitor of DNMT3A. DNMT3A-IN-2 disrupts protein-protein interactions and thus exhibits inhibitory effects on DNMT3A activity. DNMT3A-IN-2 induces apoptosis in acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) cells. DNMT3A-IN-2 induces differentiation in different AML cell lines, including DNMT3A R882 mutant cells.
