Dehydrobruceine B, a quassinoid, can be isolated from Brucea javanica . Dehydrobruceine B shows a synergistic effect with Cisplatin to induce apoptosis via mitochondrial method. Dehydrobruceine B increases apoptosis-inducing factor (AIF) and Bax expression and suppresses Keap1-Nrf2 [1] .
