Snail/HDAC-IN-1 is a potent dual-target inhibitor of Snail/HDAC that strongly inhibits the activity of Snail (Kd: 0.18 uM) and HDAC1 (IC50: 0.405 uM). Snail/HDAC-IN-1 was able to increase histone H4 acetylation and inhibit Snail protein expression in HCT-116 cells, exhibiting apoptosis-inducing effects.
