Endotoxin:
<0.01EU/µg protein (LAL test; Lonza).
Form (Short):
solid
Formulation:
Lyophilized from 0.2µm-filtered solution in PBS.
Handling Advice:
Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.Centrifuge lyophilized vial before opening and reconstitution.PBS containing at least 0.1% BSA should be used for further dilutions.
Long Description:
Protein. The extracellular domain of human B7-H5 (aa 33-194) is fused at the C-terminus to a His-tag. Source: HEK 293 cells. Endotoxin content: <0.01EU/µg protein (LAL test; Lonza). Lyophilized from 0.2µm-filtered solution in PBS. Purity: >95% (SDS-PAGE). Platelet receptor Gi24 (also known as Dies1, SISP1 and C10orf54) is a 55-65 kDa member of the Ig superfamily. It is a transmembrane molecule expressed in bone, on embryonic stem cells (ESCs), and on tumor cell surfaces. On ESCs, Gi24 appears to positively interact with BMP-4, potentiating BMP signaling and the transition from an undifferentiated to a differentiated state. On tumor cells, Gi24 both promotes MT1-MMP expression and activity and serves as a substrate for MT1-MMP. This increases the potential for cell motility. Human Gi24 undergoes proteolytic cleavage by MT1-MMP, generating a soluble 30 kDa extracellular fragment plus a 25-30 kDa membrane-bound fragment.
Molecular Weight:
~32kDa (SDS-PAGE)
NCBI, Uniprot Number:
AAH20568.1
Package Type:
Plastic Vial
