liquid
Formulation:
Lyophilized. Contains PBS.
Handling Advice:
After reconstitution, prepare aliquots and store at -20°C.Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.Centrifuge lyophilized vial before opening and reconstitution.PBS containing at least 0.1% BSA should be used for further dilutions.
Long Description:
Protein. Heligmosomoides polygyrus protein HpARI (aa 17-251) is fused at the C-terminus to a His-tag. Source: HEK 293 cells. Endotoxin content: <0.01EU/µg purified protein (LAL test; Lonza). Lyophilized. Contains PBS. Purity: >90% (SDS-PAGE). HpARI is a protein secreted by the mouse parasite Heligmosomoides polygyrus. The mature protein HpARI, containing three predicted Complement Control Protein (CCP)-like modules (also known as Short Consensus Repeats (SCRs) or sushi-domains), suppresses type 2 (allergic) immune responses through interference in the interleukin-33 (IL-33) pathway. During cell damage, HpARI gains access to the nucleus of necrotic cells, where it binds directly to IL-33 and nuclear DNA, preventing secretion and binding of IL-33 to its receptor. HpARI is a new type of reagent to prevent IL-33-mediated pathology.
Molecular Weight:
~40kDa (SDS-PAGE); ~40 kDa (Monomer) (SEC)
NCBI, Uniprot Number:
Worm base HPBE_0000813301
Package Type:
Plastic Vial
