Application Note:
SFPI1 antibody can be used for detection of SFPI1 by ELISA at 1:312500. SFPI1 antibody can be used for detection of SFPI1 by western blot at 5 μg/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
Background:
Sfpi1 binds to the PU-box, a purine-rich DNA sequence (5'-GAGGAA-3') that can act as a lymphoid-specific enhancer. Sfpi1 is a transcriptional activator that may be specifically involved in the differentiation or activation of macrophages or B-cells. Sfpi1 also binds RNA and may modulate pre-mRNA splicing.
