LD78, 464.2, MIP1AP, SCYA3L, G0S19-2, SCYA3L1, D17S1718, LD78BETA, CCL3L3, C-C motif chemokine 3-like 1, Small-inducible cytokine A3-like 1
Background:
LD78-beta is a CC chemokine that is closely related to MIP-1 alpha. It signals through the CCR5 receptor and the beta-chemokine receptor, D6. LD78-beta has been shown to exhibit potent activity in HIV suppression assays. Recombinant human LD78-beta is a 7.7 kDa protein containing 70 amino acid residues, including the four conserved cysteine residues present in CC chemokines.
Biological Activity:
Biological activity was determined by its ability to chemoattract human monocytes using a concentration range of 1.0 - 10.0 ng/mL.
