Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.
Immunogen:
Synthetic peptide corresponding to aa 2-29 (G2IGKSKINSCPLSLSWGKRHSVDTSPGY29) of human TRAM.
Long Description:
Polyclonal Antibody. Recognizes human TRAM. Source: Rabbit. Applications: WB. Liquid. Neat serum containing 0.02% sodium azide. TRAM functions in LPS-TLR4 signaling to regulate the MYD88-independent pathway during the innate immune response to LPS. It is also involved in IL-1-triggered NF-kappaB activation, functioning upstream of IRAK1, IRAK2, TRAF6 and IKBKB. TRAM physically bridges TLR4 and TICAM-1 and functionally transmits LPS-TRL4 signal to TICAM-1. It is expressed in spleen, prostate, testis, uterus, small intestine, colon, peripheral blood leukocytes, heart, placenta, lung, liver, skeletal muscle and pancreas.
