ZR-75-1 cells are developed from the breast cancer cells of a caucasian female human. Cell growth is estrogen dependent.
Donor History:
Female, 63, Caucasian, Carcinoma
Growth Conditions:
PriCoat™ T25 Flasks (G299) or Applied Cell Extracellular Matrix (G422) are recommended for optimal cell culture. Ham's F-12 Medium + 5% FBS + 1 ug/ml Hydrocortisone (TM066) + 5 ug/ml Insulin (TM053) + 1% Penicillin/Streptomycin Solution (G255), 37.0°C, 5% CO2.
