immunAware
immunAware, created by scientists with long-standing experience within the field of MHC biochemistry and T cell immunology, is dedicated to advancing the study of immunology through a focused exploration of the intricate biochemistry of MHC class I and II molecules.
Leveraging their expertise, they have pioneered and refined the production of peptide-MHC class I and II monomers and tetramers, including potent recombinant MHC molecules, comprehensive peptide-MHC interaction assays, and large repositories of peptide-MHC data. In collaboration with bioinformatics, they introduced the acclaimed NetMHC series of predictors.
Recognising the diversity inherent to MHC, their efforts have culminated in the assembly of a second-to-none collection of MHC molecules, refining the production of >100 distinct MHC class I and II molecules, including HLA-A, HLA-B, HLA-C, HLA-DR and H-2 variants.
This work also extends to MHC molecules from diverse species, spanning non-human primates, mice, cattle, pigs, and avian species.
MHC Class I – For characterisation of epitope-specific CD8+ T cells

immunAware offers MHC class I monomers pre-loaded with known peptide epitopes. The monomers can easily be assembled into tetramers and used to identify, isolate and monitor cognate CD8+ T cells.
The tetramer binds to the CD8+ T cell TCR with high avidity and specificity, allowing for the detection of specific T cells at frequencies lower than 0.05%.
Choose between tetramer (PE/AP/BV421) or biotinylated monomers, which can readily be made into tetramers with the label of your choice.
Monomers can be stored at -20°C for up to 24 months.
MHC Class II - For characterisation of epitope-specific CD4+T cells

immunAware has available HLA class II monomers and tetramers pre-loaded with known peptide epitopes. Peptide-HLA class II tetramers are a valuable tool that enables swift and detailed characterisation of epitope-specific CD4+ T cells.
The tetramer binds to the CD4+ T cell TCR with high avidity and specificity, allowing for detection of specific T cells of frequencies as low as 0.05%.

easYmers® - Make your own peptide-HLA complex

HLA-Class I easYmer® is a highly active formulation of peptide-receptive HLA class I molecules with no artificial Cys-bonds linking heavy chain and b2m. easYmer® allows you to load your own peptide and generate peptide-MHC class I monomers and/or tetramers.
Simply add your peptides of interest to generate specific peptide-HLA class I monomers. The loading efficacy can be validated in a FACS-based bead assay. The monomers can easily be tetramerised with fluorophore-conjugated streptavidin and used to stain cognate T cells for analysis in a flow cytometric assay.
The easYmer® is the most flexible and cost-effective immunAware reagent, ideally suited for:
- Large-scale production of pMHC monomers with a single epitope for screening a large number of samples.
- Production of many different pMHC complexes to screen your peptide epitope candidates.
- Screening and validation of peptide libraries for binding to relevant MHCs and identifying potential T cell targets.
easYmers® are available in aliquots of 50 Tests (corresponding to 20 µg of pMHC).
Custom MHC Class I and II complexes tailored to your needs
Choose from over 100 HLA class I and class II allotypes ready to be loaded with your chosen peptide for custom production of pMHC complexes.
For maximum flexibility, choose between biotinylated monomers or ready-to-use tetramers ideal for detailed analysis of antigen-specific CD8+ T or CD4+ cells.
Monomers are available in mg scale e.g. for screening of TcR-like antibodies and can be aliquoted and stored at -20°C for 24 months.
immunAware conducts a binding analysis prior to manufacturing for a setup fee. If a peptide-MHC class I combination is unproductive, this would be the only charge.
