Elevate your (RT)-PCR with DBdirect™ technology! All of DIANA's PCR and RT-PCR mixes can streamline your workflow with reduced handling time and costs, while delivering high-quality and reproducible results.

DBdirect™ technology enables direct PCR from a wide range of biological samples without the need for NA isolation. The key innovation lies in the unique PCR mix formulation, which facilitates direct lysis during the PCR reaction.

Some sample types benefit from a preincubation step in DB Lysis Buffers, followed by the addition of the lysate to the PCR mix.

DBscript Reverse Transcriptase

DBscript Reverse Transcriptase ensures excellent cDNA synthesis from RNA templates in both one-step and two-step RT-PCR applications.

With a superfast protocol and reduced pipetting steps, it features an MMLV mutant with reduced RNase H activity for improved yield and longer cDNAs (> 9 kb). DBscript supports reverse transcription at 50-60°C, thanks to increased thermostability and a unique buffer formulation. Expressed as a recombinant protein in E. coli, it comes with a 5X RT buffer, including dNTPs and a separate DTT solution.

DB Taq DNA Polymerases

DIANA's proprietary DNA Polymerases provide superior thermostability, sensitivity and simplicity with minimal pipetting steps, ensuring reliable results for every experiment.

DB RNase Inhibitors

RNase inhibitors are the only way to protect RNA across a wide range of applications. However, all protein inhibitors are highly unstable, while synthetic inhibitors have low potency and low assay compatibility. As a result, none of them reliably protects RNA.

DB Ultima H RNase Inhibitor

DB Ultima H RNase inhibitor is designed to solve these issues. DB Ultima H is a highly engineered human RNase inhibitor with an optimal inhibition profile and outstanding stability. It is the most potent inhibitor of human RNases and also potently inhibits other eucaryotic and E.coli RNases. It sets a new benchmark in reliability through unprecedented oxidative resistance and stability across a wide range of assay conditions. DB Ultima H strongly outperforms other inhibitors in direct RT-PCR, RNA-seq, in vitro transcription and other applications.
