Description:
This cell line, known as CHO-B4, has a landing pad integrated at a single locus enabling extended, stable, GFP expression. Using the phiC31 recombinase, a Herceptin expression cassette was introduced and this was also found to allow stable expression. Successful integration of your target expression cassette can be confirmed by the absence of GFP expression following transfection.
Growth Conditions:
PriCoat™ T25 Flasks (G299) or Applied Cell Extracellular Matrix (G422) are recommended for optimal cell culture. PriGrow X Series Medium (TM3320) + 8 mM L-Glutamine (G275) + 0.1% Pluronic-F68 + 1% Penicillin/Streptomycin Solution (G255), 37.0°C, 5% CO2. 250 ug/ml Geneticin/G418 (G271) for selection. Note: Selection drugs should be added to the culture medium after the cells have recovered from freeze-thaw conditions.
