Description:
The ACRJ-PC28 cell line is of neuroendocrine phenotype and does not express prostate-specific genes (AR, NKX3.1, and PSA) at the protein level but showed expression of NE specific markers (SYP and ENO2) at the RNA-Seq level. The cell line is atypical in expressing both basal (CK5 and p63) and luminal (CK18) markers. ACRJ-PC28 lacked expression from the CDKN2Alocus.
Growth Conditions:
PriCoat™ T25 Flasks (G299) or Applied Cell Extracellular Matrix (G422) are recommended for optimal cell culture. PriGrow X Series Medium for T0398 (TM0398) + 5 ng/mL EGF + 50 ug/mL bovine pituitary extract + 100 ng/mL hydrocortisone + 5 ug/mL insulin + 5 ug/mL Apo-Transferin + 0.5 ng/mL recombinant TGFα + 1 umol/L Epinephrine + 1% Penicillin/Streptomycin Solution (G255), 37.0°C, 5% CO2.
