Immortalized Multimammate Mouse Skin Keratinocytes (Kera5) are a spontaneously immortalized cell line derived from primary keratinocytes of newborn virus-free Mastomys coucha. Mastomys coucha-derived skin keratinocytes can be used as an in vitro system to investigate molecular and immunological aspects of infectious agent interactions with their host cells.
