Description:
This Immortalized Human Delta F508 Cystic Fibrosis Cells are dervied from bronchial epithelial primary cells isolated from a patient with Delta F508 Cystic Fibrosis. The cells were immortalized by external manipulated to express BMI-1 and hTERT. These cells have a diploid karyotype and electrophysiologic properties. This cell line is applicable for research relating to cystic fibrosis and other applications.
Donor History:
Female, 54, Delta F508 Cystic Fibrosis
Growth Conditions:
PriCoat™ ECM T25 Flasks (G999) or Applied Cell Extracellular Matrix (G422) are required for cell adhesion to the culture vessels. PriGrow X Series Mediuam (TM0738), 37.0°C, 5% CO2 Note: Cells are sensitive to trypsin; Gentle Dissociation Solution (TM080) is recommended for subculture procedures.
Growth Properties:
Adherent, epithelial-like
Immortalisation Method:
Bmi-1 and the catalytic subunit of telomerase (hTERT).
