Cell Resource Bank
Procell is dedicated to providing high-quality, mycoplasma-free cell resources for pharmaceutical and vaccine R&D companies, hospitals, and academic institutions. Their repository comprises two major collections: cell lines and primary cells.
Cell Lines
800+ Authenticated Cell Lines – Covering tumour cells, normal cells, drug-resistant cells, and fluorescent-labelled cells, among others.
Every cell line is supplied with a species authentication report, and human cell lines as well as key mouse cell lines are further validated by STR profiling to ensure reliable provenance. Passage numbers are strictly controlled within 5 passages since introduction into Procell's repository. All cell lines undergo batch cryopreservation and are tested for sterility and mycoplasma, and are produced in ISO Class 7 (Class 10,000) cleanrooms under a comprehensive quality management system — ensuring optimal cell condition and excellent viability. Each cell line is paired with a specially formulated culture system, making cultivation easier and more reliable.
Primary Cells
Comprising 200 types of normal somatic cells freshly isolated from living animal tissues.
Available at P0–P1 passages, these cells more closely reproduce the physiological characteristics of biological systems. Each batch is accompanied by an immunofluorescence characterisation report.
Immortalised Primary Cells
Built on Procell's primary cell platform, immortalised primary cells are generated by introducing the SV40 large T antigen (SV40T) gene via lentiviral transduction, overcoming the Hayflick limit while retaining key phenotypic characteristics. This significantly enhances proliferative capacity and extends culture lifespan, providing a reliable solution for long-term in vitro research on primary cells.
Cell Function Kits
Primary Cell Isolation Kits
Primary cells, derived directly from living tissues, offer unparalleled physiological relevance for various research applications, such as drug screening and disease modelling. However, isolating and cultivating primary cells is challenging for researchers in the fields.
Procell Primary Cell Isolation Kits isolate high-purity, high-viability cells, which exhibit characteristic morphology. These cells maintain a stable state, adhere well, and are well-suited for a diverse range of downstream applications, ensuring outstanding experimental reproducibility and consistency.

Exosome Isolation Kits
Exosomes are a class of extracellular vesicles (EVs) with diameters of approximately 30-150 nm. They are secreted by various cell types under both physiological and pathological conditions and play a pivotal role in intercellular communication. Exosomes have demonstrated significant application potential across a wide range of research fields, including tumour microenvironment regulation, immune modulation, and neurodegenerative diseases.
Ultracentrifugation is the classical method for exosome isolation; however, its heavy reliance on specialised equipment and its time-consuming, labour-intensive procedures greatly limit research efficiency and accessibility.
To address these challenges, Procell have developed a series of Exosome Isolation Kits based on optimised separation strategies. These kits are compatible with different sample types and research needs, providing efficient and convenient solutions for exosome isolation.
Product Features:
- High purity – Free from cell debris, proteins, and other vesicle contaminants
- Superior stability – preserve natural membrane structure and properties
- Optimal yield – achieve efficient retrieval of exosomes
- Wide application – suitable for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, and other samples
- Simplified process – requires only a standard magnetic rack, no special equipment needed
- High throughput – enable simultaneous processing of multiple samples and support automated workflows
Auxiliary Reagents
Antibiotics & SafeGuard – Antibiotics are essential for preventing microbial contamination in cell culture, ensuring accurate and reliable experimental results. They play a crucial role in maintaining a sterile environment, protecting your cultures from unwanted bacteria and fungi. In addition, antibiotics are also commonly used to screen for stable cell lines based on their genetically engineered resistance genes or selection markers. Procell offers a range of high-quality antibiotics designed to support your needs, providing the reliability and consistency your research demands.
Balanced Salt Solutions – Balanced Salt Solutions (BSS) play a crucial role in maintaining the structural and physiological integrity of cells in vitro. These isotonic buffer systems are designed to keep cells within their physiological pH range, ensuring high viability during incubations. Primarily composed of inorganic salts and glucose, BSS maintains cellular osmotic balance, stabilises pH, and provides essential nutrients. Procell offers a diverse range of balanced salt solutions, including PBS, DPBS, HBSS, EBSS, and more. Developed with precision and rigorously validated across nearly a thousand different cell types, Procell's BSS products are available in various formulations and formats, ensuring consistent quality and reliability for your experimental needs.
Cell Dissociation Reagents – Cell dissociation reagents enable efficient cell detachment by degrading cell-cell and cell-matrix adhesion molecules, leading to loss of adhesion and cell rounding. The Procell Cell Dissociation Reagents comprise animal-derived enzymes, recombinant enzymes, enzyme blends, and chemical dissociation systems, supporting diverse applications from routine cell to stem cell dissociation, while preserving viability and surface markers.
Cell Freezing Media– Cell cryopreservation is a critical step in cell-based research and cell resource management. Low-temperature storage effectively slows cellular metabolic activity, enabling the long-term maintenance of cell viability and genetic stability. A well-designed cryopreservation system minimises cellular damage during freezing and thawing, ensuring that cells maintain robust growth characteristics and experimental consistency after recovery, thereby providing a reliable foundation for downstream research. Leveraging years of expertise in cell culture technologies and reagent development, Procell has developed a series of cell freezing media tailored to different cell types and research applications. These products have been validated through the cryopreservation and recovery of more than 2,000 cell lines and primary cells in the Procell in-house cell bank, consistently maintaining high post-thaw viability and providing reliable and efficient solutions for cell preservation.
Growth Supplements & Cytokines – To support Procell's vast range of cell culture media and provide scientists with a complete range of cell culture tool, Procell also offer high-purity growth supplements and cytokines. These products are produced under strict quality control to provide strong biological activity and reliable support for cell growth and functional studies.
Transfection Reagents – Cell transfection introduces exogenous nucleic acids into cells to enable intracellular expression or function and is widely used in gene function studies, disease modelling, and gene therapy. However, variations in membrane structure and endocytic capacity across cell types often prevent general-purpose transfection reagents from achieving both high efficiency and strong cell viability. Based on the transfection characteristics of different cell types, Procell has developed a series of cell-specific transfection reagents that provide efficient nucleic acid delivery with low toxicity and high reproducibility.
