RNase III is ribonuclease III (RNase III) recombinantly expressed by E. coli. This specific exonuclease cleaves double-stranded RNA (dsRNA) and generates 12-35bp dsRNA fragments with 5'-PO4 and 3'-OH, 3' overhangs.
