Product Information:
Gold standard primary cells isolated from normal human retina tissue. ACBRI 183 cells were isolated from dissociated normal human retinal tissue and are available in single cryopreserved vials or proliferating flasks. Cell Systems primary cells are healthy cells with a high yield that are ideal for 2D or 3D cell cultures. Use of Cell Systems Media and Reagents is highly recommended. Multiple donors available. Paired donor with Primary Human Retinal Microvascular Endothelial Cells (ACBRI 181) also available.Primary cells are available at Passage 3 [<12 cumulative population doublings] cryopreserved in Cell Freezing Medium™ (4Z0-705). This vial will initiate a Passage 4 cell culture in a 75 cm2 flask. The cells were originated using Cell Systems Complete Serum-Free Medium (SF-4Z0-500) and subsequently grown and passaged in Cell Systems Complete Medium (4Z0-500). Each vial of cells is shipped to Customer with Bac-Off® (antibiotic) and CultureBoost™ (animal derived growth factors) or CultureBoost-R™ (human recombinant growth factors) at no additional cost. Cells are available for in vitro research purposes only and may not be transferred out of the direct control of the recipient.
