Antibacterial agent 246 (compound A33) demonstrates a minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) ranging from 0.5 to 4 ug/mL against 23 species of Gram-positive bacteria. When used in combination with Polymyxin E, it inhibits the growth of various Gram-negative bacteria, showing a partial inhibitory concentration index of 0.066.
