Its replicase module, derived from Venezuelan equine encephalitis virus (VEEV), enables sustained gene amplification in mammalian systems, facilitating low-dose, high-level, and long-lasting target gene expression. It encodes an enhanced green fluorescent protein, it can express stable green fluorescence.
