Its excitation/emission (Ex/Em) spectrum is 495-566/701 nm. The two dyes within PE-VF680, PE and VF, have excitation wavelengths (Ex) of 495 nm and 566 nm, respectively, with PE-VF594 Maleimide exhibiting an emission wavelength (Em) of 701 nm.
