Bioactivity:
Antiviralagent 64 (Compound 12) is a diarylheptane compound isolated from *Alpinia officinarum*. In human neuroblastoma IMR-32 cells, it exhibits cytotoxicity with an IC50 of 0.23 uM. Antiviralagent 64 also demonstrates antiviral activity, effectively inhibiting RSV, poliovirus, measles virus, HSV-1, and influenza virus H1N1, with EC50 values of 13.3, 3.7, 6.3, 5.7, and <10 ug/mL, respectively.
