Bioactivity:
Arborcandin B is an inhibitor of 1,3-β-glucan synthase and serves as an antifungal antibiotic. The IC50 values of Arborcandin B for Candida albicans (C. albicans) and Aspergillus fumigatus (A. fumigatus) are 0.30 ug/mL and 0.025 ug/mL, respectively. The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) for Candida species is 2-4 ug/mL.
