Alldimycin A is an anthracycline compound that inhibits the synthesis of RNA and DNA. It effectively hampers the growth of mouse leukemia L1210 cells and reduces DNA and RNA synthesis, with IC50 values of 0.05 ug/mL, 0.92 ug/mL, and 0.47 ug/mL, respectively.
