Bioactivity:
Ammocidin is an apoptosis inducer in Ras-dependent cells. It triggers apoptosis in Ras-dependent Ba/F3-V12 cells with an IC50 of 66 ng/mL. Additionally, Ammocidin significantly reduces the phosphorylation levels of MAPK and S6K, which mediate the anti-apoptotic functions of Ras.
