RI-OR2 is a retro-inverso peptide that acts as an amyloid-β (Aβ) oligomerization inhibitor. It binds to fixed β-Amyloid (1-42) monomers and fibrils, with an apparent Kd of 9-12 uM, and also serves as an inhibitor of Aβ(1-42) fibril extension.
