Bioactivity:
Fmoc-PEG5-alcohol is a PEG linker with an Fmoc-protected amine and a hydroxyl group. The hydrophilic PEG spacer enhances solubility in aqueous media. The Fmoc group can be deprotected under basic conditions to yield a free amine for further conjugation. The hydroxyl group can be further derivatized or replaced with other reactive functional groups.
