ER-Tracker Green Staining Solution

ER Tracker Green is a membrane permeable endoplasmic reticulum labeled fluorescent probe with high selectivity for endoplasmic reticulum. ER Tracker Green is composed of a green fluorescent dye (BODIPY FL) and glibenclamide (glyburide), which can bind to sulfonylurea receptors in ATP sensitive K+channels on the endoplasmic reticulum. Therefore, glibenclamide coupled with green fluorescent dye can specifically label the endoplasmic reticulum. The maximum excitation wavelength of ER Tracker Green is 504 nm, and the maximum emission wavelength is 511 nm. ER Tracker Green dye has strong specificity for endoplasmic reticulum staining and almost no staining of mitochondria. ER Tracker Green has low toxicity to cells and is suitable for endoplasmic reticulum specific fluorescence staining of living cells, but not for fluorescence staining of fixed cell endoplasmic reticulum.
