Description:
The KRISHGEN CAR/TCR Transgene Copy Number Quantitation Kit is a qPCR based assay to quantify the copy number of target genes in cell therapy products. It utilizes multiplex qPCR technique to detect DNA sequences related to the integration or expression function on the transfer plasmid and Single Copy Gene (SCG) in human cells. The average copies of target gene per cell can be calculated in the samples, such as CAR or TCR gene copy numbers.
This kit is specific, accurate and universal for lentiviral vector applications.
Principle Of Assay:
Real Time PCR assay. Instrument compatability to Thermo, Biorad, Roche, Qiagen. Real-time PCR monitors the accumulation of PCR product (amplicon) cycle-by-cycle using a fluorescent signal that increases proportionally with the amount of amplified DNA.
