Test Principle:
Nitric oxide (NO) is chemically reactive and is rapidly metabolized in the body to nitrite (NO2- ) and nitrate ((NO3-), with NO2- further converting to NO3-. This method utilizes a reducing agent to convert NO3- to NO2-, and the color development with a chromogenic reagent can be detected at 540 nm to determine the content of NO.
