Background:
Enhanced Green Fluorescent Protein (EGFP) is a bioengineered version of Green Fluorescent Protein (GFP). Its fluorescence is more than six times stronger than GFP, making it better suited as a reporter gene to study gene expression, regulation, cell differentiation, and protein localization and transport in organisms. BV2-EGFP cells are created by using lentiviral transfection on BV2 cells, resulting in a stable cell line that can express EGFP at high levels over the long term. This cell line has low passage, high activity, and good condition, making it suitable for experiments like flow cytometry and fluorescent imaging. Half-maximal drug concentration: Puro = 1.0 ug/mL.
