The Hep-53.4 cell line is a mouse cell line derived from hepatocellular carcinoma in a C57BL/6J mouse model. It is widely used for studying hepatocellular carcinoma, one of the most prevalent forms of liver cancer. As a consistent and reproducible model system, Hep-53.4 cells are used to investigate the complex biology of liver cancer, including oncogenic signaling pathways, the effects of genetic alterations, and the role of the tumor microenvironment in cancer progression.
