Renca is an epithelial cell line isolated from the kidney of a male mouse with renal cortical adenocarcinoma. The Renca-LUC cell line was generated from parental Renca cells via lentiviral transduction, and steadily expresses high levels of firefly luciferase long-term. This cell line features low passage numbers, high cell viability and favorable growth status, and is directly applicable for in vivo cell injection, in vivo imaging, cell tracing, and research on transcription factor regulatory mechanisms. The puromycin (Puro) screening concentration is 1.0 ug/mL.
