Background:
HCC 94 [HCC941122] cells were derived from a highly differentiated uterine squamous cell carcinoma. The cell line was established in 1995 from the second-passage tumor tissue of a nude mouse xenograft (HCC 94V), which was derived from a human cervical well-differentiated squamous cell carcinoma. After adherent culture, cell growth initiated on day 6, and the first passage was performed on day 38. HCC 94 [HCC941122] cells can form tumors when subcutaneously transplanted into BALB/c-nu/nu nude mice.
