Applications Description:
The antibody may be used in ELISA and Immuno-affinity-chromatography (IAC). The titer of the antibody is approximately 100, 000 (the titer is defined as the dilution giving 50 % binding).
Background:
Alkylphenols are used as starting material for the production of surface active substances, detergents, pesticides, paints, textile and paper. It is released during production and use of these products. Alkylphenols are recognized as endocrine disruptors, in particular estrogenic endocrine disruptors. A highly comparable compound is octylphenol.
Field of Interest:
Toxic Compounds|Environmental pollutants
Immunogen:
BSA-C8-alkylphenol conjugate
Product:
Each vial contains 0.1 ml of rabbit polyclonal antiserum in phosphate buffered saline (PBS; pH 7.2) containing 0.02% sodium azide.
Source:
Rabbit immune serum
