Mycoplasma Inhibitor Solution

Mycoplasma elimination solution (10 mg/ml) is formulated to efficiently eliminate mycoplasma contamination from cell culture. It is effective at removing mycoplasma, gram positive and gram-negative bacteria. Mycoplasma elimination solution (MES) inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase necessary for active and non-active growth phases. This product can be used to prevent infection of cells by mycoplasma and remove of mycoplasma.Add fresh mycoplasma elimination solution to culture media and change medium every 3-4 days. A two-week treatment should be sufficient to eliminate contamination. The effective working concentration ranges from 5-25 ug/ml; 10 ug/ml is ideal for most applications. The optimal concentration, however, should be determined for individual cell types and culture conditions.
