FSY-OSO2F, after labeling with isotope 18 F, is used as an amino acid tracer for subcutaneous MCF-7 tumors. It shows uptake in MCF-7 cells through regulation of L-Tyr, ASC, and ASC2 transporters, and also visualizes the U78MG glioma labeled with 18 F [1].
