DB RT-PCR Mixes

In a customer study, the relative expression of two Arabidopsis thaliana genes was analysed under different light conditions. Quantitative RT-PCR was performed using DIANA’s DB RT-PCR SYBR Mix and a leading competitor mix. Melting curve analysis revealed multiple non-specific products for each target with the competitor mix, sometimes completely failing to amplify the specific product. In contrast, DB RT-PCR SYBR Mix produced a single, specific amplicon for each target. The high specificity of DIANA’s mixes simplifies primer design and ensures reliable quantification across experiments.

DBdirect™ RT-PCR Mixes

CCRF-CEM human cells were FACS-sorted directly into PCR plates containing 10 μL of RT-PCR mix and processed by one-step RT-qPCR.

Two transcripts (GAPDH and TBP) were detected using either sequence-specific TaqMan probes or SYBR Green I dye.

DBdirect RT-PCR mixes enabled precise mRNA quantification from single cells without RNA extraction, allowing rapid, cost-efficient RNA profiling at single-cell resolution.
