λ Proteinphosphatase is a serine/threonine phosphatase encoded by bacteriophage Lambda. Activation of λ Proteinphosphatase requires divalent cations (e.g., Mn2+). It is capable of dephosphorylating casein, adenovirus E1A protein, and the α subunit of phosphorylase kinase.
