Dextran sulfate sodium salt (5W-10W) sodium dextran sulfate with a molecular weight of 50,000-100,000.Dextran sulfate sodium salt is a synthetic sulphated polysaccharide with anticoagulant activity used in immunological research to induce colitis. Additionally, Dextran sulfate is routinely used for the selective precipitation of lipoproteins, probe hybridization membrane-immobilized DNA, the release of DNA from DNA-histone complexes, and the inhibition of RNA binding to ribosomes.
